Synopsis of Multimodal Presentation

This presentation focuses on the work of Lewis Hine, specifically on his work highlighting the unethical nature of child labor. His work was used to put an end to child labor in the United States. This presentation includes three of his photographs depicting working children.

 

My New Perception of Photography

My perception of photography has expanded to include photography being a tool, not just an art form. Photography can bring awareness to people about various issues in addition to having aesthetic value. It can be used to change the world, or in this case a country by leading to the implementation of child labor laws.
